 Betta Trading at 45 Princes Highway Littlehampton 5250 in the Adelaide Hills in South Australia was started in 1990. Princes Highway is the Main Road of Littlehampton. Betta Trading was named after the Siamese Fighting Fish; Betta splendens.
As an historical side note, Littlehampton in South Australia was named after Littlehampton in West Sussex in the UK.
We sell fish, aquariums, plants and accessories as well as a wide variety of animal feeds including feeds for Dogs and Cats Horses, Poultry, Fish, sheep, cattle, goats, rabbits and birds. Our Dog and Cat foods include the super premium foods Advance and Pro Plan. Recently we added hydroponics to our range. This was because many people were asking for them, and also because we were interested to see if we could save water by growing our own vegetables hydroponically.
We have a breeders' page where any breeder who sells animals in South Australia can request that their details be added, as well as pages specific to cat breeders and to Dog Breeders
We have a small, but increasing, range of fact sheets on many types of fish, as well as some more general aspects of fish keeping. These are listed in the second page of this site the Fish Facts Index.
There is a Vets' page for Veterinary Surgeons in or near Littlehampton to put their details, As well as a special page for the Littlehampton Vet. The Littlehampton Vet is in the house next door to Betta Trading and the two seperate businesses share the car parks at the back. There is also space to park at the front of both businesses.
There were getting to be so many things on this website that our site building program was at its limit for updating. Some of the things less relevant to our shop have been put on my Personal Website. Because of the links between the two you may be tranfered back and forth.
